Salim is a proven leader and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience. He has an impressive track record in digital financial services, deeply regulated industries and product strategy, specifically in the digital and retail banking sectors. Led Carta in Europe which eventually exited to Mogo, a digital credit company and is the Co-Founder of BigPay, a consumer digital banking platform in Southeast Asia. He started as COO and became CEO in 2020, leading the expansion into new products and markets, as well as securing one of the largest digital banking financing rounds.

Financial services banking sector expert with 20 years of experience. Worked across multiple developed and emerging markets. Held various positions in Raiffeisenbank, Swedbank, HSBC in product development and sales management. Since 2011 he has been involved in different fintech initiatives. As Chief Digital Officer led digital transformation journey of VPBank (top commercial bank in Vietnam) to help the bank become one of the most technologically advanced players in the region. Joined BigPay in 2019 where helped to build and execute product strategy across multiple countries.
